Photo A Day Experiment (PADE) has successfully completed a week and I couldn’t have been more proud. We have done the themes – Alone, Books, Candle, Distance, Fresh, Layer and now it is time for LIGHT.
When I zeroed in on this theme for PADE (my 16 in addition to Sfurti’s 16), I had a completely different idea about what I could do with this topic. It would have been more on the lines of my entry to Illumination for WordPress. But doing something I have already done was no fun. Besides I planned to walk out of my comfort zone for PADE.
So it was time to leave behind my usual inspirational message of finding light within us or somewhere else but to literally focus on light!
It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. ~ Aristotle
But I couldn’t help myself from posting a quote that I L-O-V-E on Light (eek!).
Photography is a lot about patience – to find a perfect angle, suitable light and get subject in focus. When I selected a spot for this photo, I knew I wanted sun (light) to be visible indirectly. It took me around 10 minutes to find my angle and get the sun at the right spot, exactly in the middle of the leaf.
Photo Perspective: This photo was taken in manual mode from my Nikon D7100 DSLR camera. No special setting of Aperture and Shutter speed, just the usual daytime Landscape setting. And while editing, I just increased the color temperature a bit!
Did I find my light? I think so. What do you think about this photo? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
