I just finished reading Chicken Soup For the Indian Soul – Book of Miracles yesterday. I am a huge fan of inspirational books and I always read as many Chicken Soup books as I can. I believe in miracles so when I saw this book, I was immediately drawn to it. I have read over 30 titles from the Chicken Soup series.
I have read the international releases as well as books from the Indian series. There is a huge difference in the quality of writing in my opinion, however, the stories are heart-warming. A lot of stories deal with the miracles experienced by the devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba and also there are a lot of references to religion (Hinduism), gods, goddesses, temples and saints.
People respond to these things differently so choose the book keeping the points mentioned above in mind. This book is definitely for you if you – believe in God, Angels, saints and miracles. This book may make more sense to Indians due to repeated references to deities and saints we hear about only in India.
