We have repeatedly heard that we should live in the present moment and not in the past. But some moments are so special that yearning to go back in time and reliving them all over again becomes irresistible. That’s why we take pictures so that we can go back and revisit a memory.
The day I’d like to relive would be my wedding day. The first reason for that choice is because I do not have too many photos of my life before my wedding. I was too concerned with my weight and un-photogenic looks to be interested in getting my pictures taken, second it was such a tough time in my life, I didn’t get time to enjoy the day I was “The Bride”. There was just too much going on.
In fact it is the only important moment of my life till now that I didn’t get to enjoy, otherwise I’m a happy-go-lucky girl – always cracking jokes, laughing or smiling.
This picture was taken minutes before we entered the wedding hall. I was thinking about sharing a photo of me as a bride but I figured it would be unsafe and too personal.
