The literal meaning of Bliss is “a state of utter joy and contentment, supreme happiness”. And it is not a word I use very often in my day to day life. Few things in our lives in these times offer a blissful disposition. For Theme – Bliss on Day 17 th of the Photo A Day Experiment (PADE), I’d show you what brings a sense of bliss to me.
Ever since I started taking pictures deliberately, I have been having a great time with a camera in my hands. It suddenly feels like there’s so much to capture. I find excuses to take out my camera and click pictures of anything. I can treat every living and non-living thing as a subject, and my enthusiasm for the art of photography is growing with every passing day.
Something I captured in a state of bliss
I do not know how long I will be able to carry on at this pace, or would I even be as interested in photography once PADE ends and life takes over; but right now this is what brings me happiness. And I’m going to follow Joseph Campbell‘s advice
Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.
Photo perspective: I’ve been having fun finding my muse in everyday things but this cobweb was one of the most unique things I came across recently! And to see raindrop trapped in it – priceless!Taken by my DSLR Nikon D7100.
I’d love to see how you interpret this theme! Check out my PADE page for more PADE fun. Visit the entries of other PADE participants and support them!
