Bridges. Concrete structures or intangible connections – in either case a bridge connects two separate entities. It can be sacred like the Ram Setu or a manmade marvel like Oresund Bridge or even a small insignificant foot bridge that brings a smile on someone’s face (me). There are thousands of bridges on this planet some – standing strong and proud, under construction, collapsed and defeated, or old and neglected!
Millions of intangible bridges are built and burnt everyday – to make new friends, to take a leap in faith and venture into an unknown territory, to make amends with a loved one or to break a relationship, to move on and never look back. And it is also a means to cross a mental barrier; to move forward and be the person you want to be, to the future you want to make.
Your problem is to bridge the gap which exists between where you are now and the goal you intend to reach. ~ Earl Nightingale
Photo perspective: This photo was shot a low height from my Nikon Coolpix L100. I just wanted to show the bridge in a different way. I have spent so much time on the banks of this stream that this could literally be referred as my second home.
I did squat at the side of the bridge to get a good picture. And I did get a lot of stares but don’t worry, PADE has made me numb to public humiliation!
