It’s been long since I participated in the Weekly Photo Challenge. I was not feeling very inspired for the last 3 weeks and was waiting for my (blogging) muse to come back. I don’t know whether it is back or not but this week’s theme definitely motivated me to write a post albeit temporarily.
Life has been good and I’m thankful for that but certain things I have been striving for a long time have not been working out for me and I feel like giving up. I am not a quitter so I take a break and come back.
Let’s start afresh just a sun starts fresh in the east every morning despite the disappointments of yesterday and apprehensions of tomorrow.
Since my childhood I have a habit of waking up and looking outside the window before doing anything else. I usually drink water in the morning so I bring the bottle from my bedside table and sit/stand near the window while I marvel at nature. Most of my life I have lived in East-facing houses so I get to view sunrise if I wake up on time or at least get morning rays even if I wake up late. It gives me strength, energy and a sense of well-being. I love rain, cloudy weather or even snow so the days when the morning is not sunny, I still follow my ritual.
This shot was taken with Samsung S3 on Thursday morning. It was the only day this week, I woke up around 6.30 and saw the sunrise and the light changing in the sky 🙂 On all other days I got up around 7.30 or 8 and sun was high up in the sky. I still love looking out. I am so grateful for the view from my window. The sun rays hitting the Tancheon stream make every thing shine so beautifully! Despite my overall uninspired days, my mornings are always blissful.
