I am a huge fan of Feng Shui! I have seen some really good changes in my life when I have applied Feng Shui over the past 8 years. I now have a considerable amount of knowledge about this ancient Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everything with respect to the surroundings. So when I saw this book at Crossword Bookstore in J.P. Nagar Bangalore, I bought it without much thought expecting to like it and learn from it. And I am not disappointed.

This book is all about doing activities so promote your overall well-being. It explores and suggests a lot of alternate healing therapies like Shiatsu, Chiropractic, Aromatherapy, Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, Qi-gong etc. in addition to Yoga. Because Deep breathing is an important step to improve our overall health but it is not the only way. There are many practical tips to choose from and follow for your everyday wellbeing.
I like looking at our bodies as energy fields that can benefit from good energy flow. I have done a few of the exercises and Yogic breathing techniques given in the book, of course I learned them properly from a Yogic Practitioner I know, and I feel wonderful.
The book is divided in two parts and 7 chapters. The first part is all about introducing Feng Shui and CHI as concepts applicable to our body in addition to our outer environment and also various alternate healing techniques practiced around the world. The second part gives some easy to follow steps for keeping our body at its best and also to keep the Chi (energy) flowing smoothly in our bodies!
It is a relatively small book and perfect to carry around in your bag and read on the go!
