I am reviewing ‘The One Minute Millionaire‘ by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen today. The authors need no introduction as Mark and Robert have written the bestseller Cracking the Millionaire Code together before.
Mark is also the co-creater of the Chicken Soup series alongwith Jack Canfield.
On to the review:
Have you ever wondered what the beauty secret of your favorite celebrity is? You search for the interviews where they share their secrets but you end up disappointed because invariably the answer is 8 glasses of water, green tea, 8 hours sleep and no junk food, cleanse-tone-moisturize, blah blah blah.
Well if you look at self help books, they also talk about a few obscure theories in different wordings where they actually do not give away any of their SECRETS away. But if you want to be a millionaire and you pick up this book, you will not be disappointed.
One of the best things about this book is that the authors have included a fictional story to accompany the non-fictional part. The tips are great and practical. I have learnt so much about real estate, business and money from this book that I did not learn from the other hundred I have read before. The two parts of the book run simultaneously with the non-fiction tips on left hand side and the story on the right hand side.
I am not sure why the authors chose to do it this way because I found it hard to follow both sides but it worked fine when I read the left side first and then the story on the right hand side and then the left side again to get some insights one more time. I own this book so I do not worry about losing this wonderful key to my future anyway. It feels as if the authors genuinely want to guide their readers to be millionaires.
They have shared some of their personal tips and tricks rather than just going about theoretical details. The book has practical examples and idea about making money. I loved the book so much that I ended up reading it in flat 40 hours (less than 2 days).
Highly recommend this book to people who are really interested in making money especially through real-estate. Also read One Minute Manager. I have not read the other ones in the ‘One Minute’ series but these two are definitely worth checking out.
This book came with a chapter(preview) from the authors’ new book Cash in a Flash too. I am really interested in reading that after my experience with this book.
My Rating : 4/5
Of course wanting to be a millionaire starts with admitting to yourself that you want to be one. I never allowed myself to even think that openly until recently!
