Three weeks into PADE and I still have the warm fuzzy feeling of a PADE newbie. It is weird that I feel like I have always been doing PADE in between the Have-I-ever-done-this-before feeling! My creativity did come to a stall when I bumped into this theme. I kept on brainstorming and nothing else would come to my mind than posting a photo of me and my husband’s photo in a frame!
The first thing that is wrong with this idea is that it is against my policy of No-personal-photos-on-the-blog and secondly it is too obvious. I wanted to do something else. So here is the big reveal!
An empty frame! What the…
Don’t judge so fast, I still have some imagination.
Photos in photo frames sitting on our bedside tables and walls are a glimpse of a beautiful past; a memory attached to a precious moment we wanted to carry into our future. A memento to remind us of a glorious past.
But an empty frame stands for much more in this photo for me.
This beautiful empty frame represents the beautiful memories I will make with my family in the future, a better and more memorable future. It is a reminder to not keep living in the past and remember the golden days but to hope and anticipate a platinum future! So what needs to be framed?
Photo perspective: This photo was taken with my Nikon Coolpix L100. There was not much photography involved but I did play with it in Picasa. The halo-ish rose lantern is for adding an interesting element to the photo! I hope you like the originality of thought in photo and interpretation.
PS: The frame usually holds a picture of a happy couple who a lot of people think are real life Tom and Jerry.
I’d love to see how you interpret this theme! Check out my PADE page for everything related to PADE. Visit the entries of other PADE participants and support them!
