I have been busy hosting Photo A Day Experiment(PADE), a daily photo challenge on my blog. It is very exciting and fulfilling despite being demanding and tiring. I’m living every moment of it. PADE has given me chance to walk around with my camera every single day and try to do something new.
This week I was trying to learn Bokeh effect when I got interested in capturing moving subjects from my window. The results, though not perfect or even good, were beautiful. One of my first attempt at capturing motion at night!
Captured by my DSLR – Nikon D7100
This was the first shot I captured – the street lights are all blurry because of wide aperture and being out-of-focus. While the headlights and taillights of cars are like rays of light due to being captured in motion at low shutter speed.
I can only imagine how good this shot could have been if taken with a tripod and proper camera settings especially since these two effects (Bokeh and motion) look better when done exclusively. But this pic is close to my heart since its my first attempt at night photography!
I hope you liked my experiment. This is a photo response to the “Travel theme – Motion” prompt hosted at “Where’s my Backpack”
